Mission Statement

The Immunology Institute at Mount Sinai School of Medicine brings together and fosters collaboration of faculty members in multiple disciplines and departments who conduct research in immunology, allergy, inflammation, and transplantation. The overall goal is to provide an institutional mechanism to foster productive research collaborations, education, and clinical translation of basic research. This interdisciplinary approach will be necessary to advance both medicine and research into human disease into the 21st century.

Graduate Degree Program

The Mount Sinai School of Medicine offers graduate training program leading to a Ph.D. degree in several of research fields. The Immunology Institute is dedicated to establishing a world-class immunology graduate program. The goal of the Immunology Training area is to provide students interested in immunology with a rigorous and flexible program. Students will be given the individual intellectual and technical skills required to become outstanding scientists in the field of immunology.
